One step forward ........

During the recent hot spell I found it too uncomfortable to be outside so spent some time printing in my workroom in the morning when it was cool.

I had created some corded pin-tucked fabric and began to assemble some layers.

I thought I had run out of the off white linen cord I had used in my samples so I had to use the grey. This was picked up in Scrapstore several years ago so is not repeatable.

I do not like this as much as the pin tucks seem to sink into the fabric.Looking for something else the other day I found two spools of the off white.I may begin again and use these for vessels .Lesson to be learned ORGANISE YOURSELF BETTER !   J.H.

Knitting

I've been adding to my knitting experiment which I started during our last weekend at Ammerdown. It's  knitted in the round using a circular knitting needle and paper string.

It's over a metre long and the paper string creates lovely textures.
